rx7Atkins Rotary, where we not only love the rotary, we live it!
For over 30 years, we here at Atkins Rotary have been rebuilding Mazda rotary engines, working and designing parts for improved performance and durability.
Update: Our engine prices will be increased as of January 1st, 2008.
Atkins Rotary specializes in rebuilding Mazda Rx7 rotary engines, specifically 12A, 13B, and 20B Mazda Rx7 rotary engines, and have been in business since 1982. We use only the highest quality parts in our rebuilt engines. We also limit the use of used parts in our rebuilt engines, in order to provide our customers with the best Mazda rotary engine on the market at the best price. We take pride in the fact that our rebuilt engines are of a higher quality than other remanufacturers because we scrutinize our specifications much more seriously and precisely than other shops! Our engine compression rates are typically higher than Mazda's rebuilt Rx7 rotary engine standard and we pressure test
every rebuilt rotary engine to ensure that our coolant system is in tact. We offer a two year 24,000 mile warranty on all of our Mazda rebuilt rotary engines, and have had very few returns. We make many of our own parts including but not limited to: apex seals, thermal pellets, solid corner seals, intake manifolds, exhaust flanges and superchargers, all of which have been tried and tested by David Atkins and his professional championship winning racing career. Carlos Gonzales has been using our apex seals for years in his Mazda Rx7 and he won't use anyone else but Atkins Rotary for his apex seals. He currently runs 45lbs of boost in his rotary race car.

Although we have always static balanced our engines in the past, we were forced to send our rotating assemblies out to be dynamically balanced. That is no longer the case, this is our new dynamic balancer setup and ready to go.
