    Ordered after I lost my tensioner and bolts on a cruise in Angeles Crest.
    1.6 1993 built engine.
    Bolt not long enough to go through alternator & tensioner spacer.
    Barely a nub left after threading through alternator.
    Leaves nothing for the tensioner to grip on to,
    Let alone secure with a nut.
    Needs to be almost double the length.

    im not sure why that is. i just double checked Mazdas microfiche, and that is the correct bolt and part number for your application. can you confirm that the bag stated it was 9079-40-825?
