Warranty
Information
Please retain all receipts pertaining to this warranty in the
event of a warranty repair. ARS suggests that you continue to
follow the maintenance schedule even after the warranty expires
in order to extend the life of your engine. If you have any questions,
comments, or concerns you may call us at (253) 848-7776, e-mail
us at info@atkinsrotary.com, or write to us.
Installation
Information
Before installing and starting the rebuilt engine, the following
must be done to insure a safe installation:
A. Flow check the radiator, and service as advised (rod out, repair,
or replace if needed).
B. Flush the oil cooler to prevent debris from the oil from contaminating
the new engine. OR
C. Replace the oil cooler if you find any bearing material in the
oil pan or the oil filter.
D. Install a new factory style thermostat.
E. Change any defective parts such as hoses, clamps, water pump,
et cetera, that may affect the cooling system.
Follow the removal and installation procedures as outlined in your
Chilton’s or Haynes’ repair manuals. Do not prime the
engine oil system as instructed in these manuals, as the engine
is primed at our shop for you. Cranking on this engine without starting
it can and will cause premature bearing failure. After installation
please start the engine in the normal fashion. Bearing failure is
not covered as a manufacturer defect.
