    Mazda no longer makes these, so we have started manufacturing them.

    Made from solid bronze.

    Fits:

    • 79-91 Rx7 (Non-Turbo)
    • 90-03 Miata

    Also fits earlier rotary vehicles.

    Just line up the oil feed hole in the bushing with the oil feed hole in the transmission tailshaft when installing and you are good to go.

  • 74-85 Rotary Competition Tailshaft Bearing Kit (0000-02-9411) - NLA

    No Longer Available.

    Fits all 74-85 Rx2, Rx3, & Rx7s.

    Transmission tailshaft bushings often seize due to the high rpm seen in competition. The only way to avoid these failures is to install a needle bearing in place of the bushing.

    Fitment of the needle bearing requires machining out the inside diameter of the tailshaft housing. The tailshaft bearing kit includes needle bearing, snap ring and information regarding the tailshaft machining.

    Use of a hardened competition driveshaft yoke (Part #4352-25-130) is required with this modification.

    Made from solid bronze.

    You couldn't get these from Mazda without purchasing the entire tail shaft.

    We have made them to avoid costly and unnecessary complete tail shaft replacement.
