Remove glove compartment (box) using the following procedure:

• Open the glove box and locate the stay damper pivot point on outer right side of glove box. Pull the stay damper in the direction shown to detach from glove box. A small, flat-tipped screwdriver may be necessary to aid in removal. Caution: Use care not to break the stay damper when detaching from glove box pivot point.
• Press the stoppers inward allowing the box to drop down slightly.
• Slide the glove box toward rear of vehicle to disengage the lower pivots of the glove box.
