74-91 Corner Seal Spring Set (1202-11-323A)
(12) Stock OEM Mazda 74-92 Corner Seal Springs.
For a higher performance/cheaper option please use the 04-11 Rx8 corner seal springs, or the 93-95 Rx7 corner seal springs.
The only reason you should really be using these is if you have a 6mm apex/corner seal application, or if you hit yourself on the head really hard and can't tell a good design from a bad one.Otherwise steer clear of this hot mess and go with the new style corner seal springs.
74-85 13B 3mm Short Apex Seal Spring Set (ARE927)
Six 13B 3mm Short Apex Seal Spring Set, 3mm long apex seal springs sold separately. This is an optional set of short springs for added support to the Atkins Designed apex seals in 13B 3mm applications.
These will not work with OEM Mazda Apex Seals.
74-85 12A 3mm Atkins Apex Seal Set (ARE12-3)
Six 12A 3mm Atkins Designed Apex Seals , Springs are sold separately.
79-85 Rx7 Side Seal Set (1011-23-151A)
Twelve Factory OEM Mazda Side Seals for 79-85 12A & 13B applications.
We prefer the side seals Mazda offers which are longer that require hand fitting so that you can attain a tighter fit between side seal and corner seal to allow maximum compression and no blow by. Every rotor is different so it is better to get them longer to custom fit each slot, these are cheaper also than the pre-cut versions.
You will need to remove approximately 0.05" (1.28mm) from each side seal. Slowly remove the material and try fitting them til you get an ideal fit of 0.002" - 0.006" (0.05mm - 0.15mm) with a maximum limit of 0.0157" (0.4mm).
Do not use with lapped side housings.
3mm Stock Corner Seal Set (N225-11-321)
(12) Mazda OEM 3mm Corner Seals, for use on all 12A and 13B 3mm applications.
These do not include corner seal plugs.
3mm Rx7 Solid Corner Seal Set (ARE89)
(12) Patented 3mm Solid Corner Seals, for use on all 12A and 13B 3mm applications.
This is an excellent upgrade to any engine. These are desirable under high boost or nitrous applications. This was designed by David Atkins and has been patented.
This is a one piece corner seal. These can be used in place of the 2 piece Mazda corner seals with plugs. Can be used with the wire type corner seal spring or the 93-95 HP wafer type spring, which is recommended.
Mazda basically copied our design with the Rx8, getting rid of their faulty rubber corner seal plug and opting for a steel one basically making their corner seals solid like these.Do not use these with lapped side housings.
74-85 13B 3mm Atkins Apex Seal Set (ARE13-3)
Six 74-85 13B 3mm Atkins Designed Apex Seals
Also fits 86-95 Rx7 engines that have been modified to accept 3mm apex seals.
All of our apex seals are heat treated. The material for these seals has been developed by David Atkins over his extensive racing career in order to exceed stock apex seal life and durability.
We have customers running 7 second quarter mile times with these seals. Customers use them in a wide variety of applications including turbo, NOS, superchargers, and naturally aspirated applications. Detonation will ruin any apex seal, none are immune from this problem. Some apex seals will bend under detonation, and become useless, due to lack of compression, these may break but they will do so inside of the rotor and save your housings.
The benefit of these is that they can takes much more abuse before breaking than other seals can before bending.

A rotor bearing press tool is needed to remove and install the bearings.
74-91 Rx7 Race Rotor Bearing (4801-11-111)
Competition Rotor Bearing has approximately .04" deeper oil grooves and provide approximately .0005" more clearance than stock bearings.
Use on any rotary engine from 1974-1991, and automatic/low power Rx8s.

(12) Mazda Corner Seal Springs, will fit any rotors from 1974-2011 Rx7 & Rx8, a nice upgrade from the earlier wire style corner seal springs.

74-85 12A 3mm Atkins Cryogenically Treated Apex Seal Set (ARE12-3-C)
12A Cryogenically Treated Apex Seals. All of our apex seals undergo a heat treatment, these apex seals are taken one step further with a cryogenic treating process which creates a denser, more uniform grain structure that allows heat to be dissipated more quickly and uniformly. This tighter molecular structure also increases strength, wear life, and fatigue life.
